NEET PG 2022 exam not postponed, will be scheduled on May 21:NBA
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET PG 2022) for postgraduates has not been postponed, and will be scheduled on May 21, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) termed the letter circulated on the postponement of the exam as fake. According to the letter circulated on social media, the NEET PG 2022 exam was postponed till July 9. "It has come to the notice of NBEMS that some unscrupulous elements are circulating false and fake information by using fake notices in the name of NBEMS," the National Board of Examinations (NBE) said in a statement.
More than 15,000 students will appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-PG) 2022. The fake document states that the exam which was scheduled to be held on May 21, 2022 will now be conducted on July 9, 2022. ,
However, now the board has clarified that no such order has been issued by it and the examination will be held on the scheduled date.
In a notice issued on Saturday, NBEMS said that it publishes various notices related to its activities only on its website https://natboard.edu.in.
The notice advises the stakeholders not to be attracted or misled by any unverified notices and to cross verify any information regarding NBE through its website. "For any queries, contact NBE Candidate Care Support at 011-45593000 or write to NBE on its communication web portal," it said.
More than 15,000 students will be appearing for the NEET-PG 2022. Students moved to the Supreme Court on May 5, 2022, to appeal the postponement of the exam. The aspirants on Friday submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging that the upcoming post graduate examination be postponed, education rights group said.
Also, a section of aspirants had earlier written to President Ram Nath Kovind demanding postponement of the exams. They had pointed that since the NEET PG counselling 2021 is not over yet, it leaves the very little gap between the counselling and the next exam. Further, they added, that while the application forms are currently available, the doctors who have cleared their exam last and are yet to get the seats are waiting for the NEET PG counselling 2021 to get over. This way they will miss the chance to apply for the NEET PG 2022.
